Cello playing

Playing cello in the middle of the night really is the best. I can sing and practice over and over until I get it right. Everyone is sound asleep. No one is giving me funny looks, no one is bothering me, the dogs are passed out on the floor. I look out the window to see an empty street. It's just me and my music. The enviroment is so beautiful. The sound of the cello is vibrant and colorful yet low, peaceful. I absolutely love it. This is what makes my summer nights mean anything.

Living My Life In The Summer

I just realized I should update this for future reference. In case I ever wondered what was going on at this point in my life. I'll do it in list form.
Yesterday, I recieved my Rasputina folio, How We Quit The Forest.
Today, Gunnar knocked down my cello and kicked it out of tune. That little brat.
I'm currently digesting Subway.
Hmmm...colorguard is going well.
I have 4 days of Driver's Ed left and 2 days of Behind the Wheel.
Night surgeon is playing in the background as I type this.
I have a headache.
The second weekend in August (Sunday & Monday) are my Rasputina concerts that I plan on attending.
Fossil Ridge Fiber Arts is slowly gaining popularity. My mom and I are pleased.
The song has changed to Chase The Morning<3

I thiiiink that's about it. Cello is the most amazing instrument and I'm so happy and proud to have the ability to learn it. It's exciting. :)

Skeleton Bang - Rasputina

What did you see today?

Yeah, I saw a skeleton banging his head on a tombstone in the cemetery.
The sun was out.
It was weird, I gotta say.

What did you do today?

I asked a skeleton, I said, "Hey, why are you banging your head in
that way, on a tombstone in the cemetery, on such a lovely day?"
He said he'd climbed out, when the sun came up at dawn. He just wanted
to see (he just wanted to see) what the heck was going on, in the
sunshine, in the graveyard, on down the hillside, all over the planet.
